The Optiparts 43 litre Optimist Buoyancy Bag is manufactured from lightweight polyurethane-coated nylon, combining exceptional strength with low weight. Compared with traditional PVC buoyancy bags, it is approximately half the weight while providing excellent durability for intensive use.

This version is fitted with a twist-lock tube valve, allowing quick and easy inflation and deflation while maintaining a secure airtight seal.

Note

Do not overinflate the buoyancy bag. When correctly inflated it should remain soft to the touch. Overinflation may cause damage when exposed to heat or direct sunlight. Always ensure there are no sharp edges inside the boat that could puncture the bag.
