The Optiparts 43 litre Optimist Buoyancy Bag is manufactured from lightweight polyurethane-coated nylon, offering an excellent combination of strength, durability and low weight. Compared with traditional PVC buoyancy bags, it is approximately half the weight while providing superior resistance to wear.

Its 43 litre capacity makes it ideal for Optimists requiring the standard buoyancy volume for reliable flotation and everyday sailing.

Note

Do not overinflate the buoyancy bag. When correctly inflated it should remain soft to the touch. Overinflation may cause damage when exposed to heat or direct sunlight. Always ensure there are no sharp edges inside the boat that could puncture the bag.
