EX1022 – Optimist SILVER regatta 40 mm boom Optiparts

Description

The Optiparts SILVER Regatta 40 mm Boom is a lightweight and stiff Optimist boom designed for sailors moving into racing. Compared with the 32 mm School Boom EX1030, the larger 40 mm tube provides significantly more stiffness, allowing the sailor to apply more leech tension and maintain better control over the sail shape. The boom comes with the required IODA label for use at official IODA events.

Combined with the SILVER Regatta mast and sprit, it provides an accessible racing setup for sailors who want to take the step from a school rig towards a more performance-oriented Optimist rig.
