EX1203 – Optimist mast lock Optiparts

Description

The Optiparts Optimist Mast Lock provides an additional level of security by preventing the mast from coming out of the mast step during a capsize. Manufactured from durable stainless steel with a protective rubber insert, it is designed to clamp securely around the mast just below deck level without damaging the spar.

For maximum security, we recommend using the mast lock together with the traditional rope locking system. Supplied with a retaining line that attaches the lock to the mast step, it is an essential safety accessory for training, racing and everyday sailing.
