Description

The Selma® 5.5 mm stainless steel splicing fid is designed for making clean and secure splices in modern braided ropes. It is a practical tool for sailors who maintain, replace or customise their own running rigging.

With an inside diameter of 5.5 mm, this version is ideal for splicing 5 to 6 mm lines. For 3 to 4 mm lines, we recommend the 4.0 mm Selma® splicing fid EX13661.
