Description

The Optiparts Blackgold POWER Mast Set is a complete racing spar combination developed for heavier Optimist sailors who need greater support and stiffness from the rig. It combines the stiff Blackgold POWER mast with the 45 mm POWER boom and the 27 mm MEDIUM sprit.

The POWER boom is stiffer than the 40 mm MEDIUM version, allowing increased leech tension and greater control over sail shape under load. Combined with the POWER mast, this creates a supportive racing setup for sailors who place higher loads on the rig, while the MEDIUM sprit provides the proven allround sprit characteristic.

The set is supplied complete with the Blackgold rigging pack. The mast, boom and sprit each come with the required IODA label for use at official IODA events.
