EX980 – Optimist BLACKMAX mast set Optiparts

Description

The Optiparts BLACKMAX Mast Set combines the stiff Blackgold POWER mast with the ultra-stiff BLACKMAX 55 mm boom and the 27 mm MEDIUM sprit. It is the most supportive spar combination in the Optiparts Optimist range and is designed for larger and heavier sailors looking for maximum boom stiffness and minimal deflection.

The BLACKMAX boom can be used without a bridle, allowing the mainsheet to attach centrally to the boom and creating significantly more space for the sailor to move forward when tacking. Combined with the POWER mast, this makes the BLACKMAX set particularly suited to sailors who require maximum support from the rig.

The set is supplied complete with the Blackgold rigging pack. The mast, boom and sprit each come with the required IODA label for use at official IODA events.
