The Optiparts SCHOOL 40 mm Boom is a durable Optimist boom designed for sailing schools, clubs and training programmes. The 40 mm tube provides a stiffer boom than the 32 mm School Boom EX1030, making it a suitable choice where a more rigid boom is preferred while retaining the simple and robust fittings of the School range.

Like the 32 mm version, it uses durable nylon fittings and a straightforward control setup for reliable and easy maintenance.
